Welcome to Thia Go Danang-style (the new name of Thien Ly Danang-style)—an intimate, garden-style restaurant that found in July 2016 and serves authentic Vietnamese food in the beautiful coastal city in Da Nang, central Vietnam. The two founders, Tung and Ly’s ambition is to bring their secret family recipes of southern Vietnamese dishes to the world.

This cozy, family-run restaurant in Da Nang has welcomed thousands of visitors from all over the world, catering to many dietary requirements rarely found in Vietnam, such as full halal, vegan, gluten-free, and friendly with kosher, Guanyin, and Hindu diners.

A rich list of dish

You can enjoy 11 out of 40 famous Vietnamese foods in CNN bucket list in the same restaurant in Da Nang, such as pho (#1 in CNN list), banh xeo (#3), stir water spinach (#5), spring roll (#6), summer roll (#7), bun bo hue (#8), bun bo nam bo (#12), com tam (#25), banh mi (#31), fried rice (#34), che (#37) as well as mi quang, and Vietnamese coffee.

Tourist attraction

You can eat up your meal with a low budget at a famous restaurant where is recognized as a tourist attraction restaurant in Da Nang. It used to won number 1 in 2017's TripAdvisor popularity index and currently 2500 customers to acknowledge that on social media.

Halal-certified

This restaurant, which is the only halal-certified Vietnamese restaurant in Da Nang, serves a full halal menu, but alcohol allowed, and limited prayer accommodations.

We serve traditional Vietnamese cheap-eats foods from all regions of Vietnam, especially from Mekong Delta and Ho Chi Minh City in South Vietnam, where the taste is a little bit similar to the Chinese Huadong. However, they are not authentic but fusion because we have adjusted their recipe to be friendly with foreign tourists. We are also the only Vietnamese restaurant in Da Nang, even in Vietnam, to serve many dietary, such as usual, full halal, vegetarians, gluten-free, and understanding of diet in kosher, Guanyin, and Hinduism.

Summer roll consists of prawn, vegetable, rice vermicelli wrapped in soft rice paper, and a sauce made from soybean in service. The price is for five rolls.

Our portion of banh mi includes a loaf of banh mi enjoying with beefsteak, beef roll (chả bò), beef liver pâté, fried egg, green chili, pickled carrot and daikon radish, cucumber, potato, and coriander. A gluten-free version is available.

Spring roll

Spring roll has commonly seasoned ground meat (beef or prawn, squid), mushrooms, and diced vegetables, rolled up in a sheet of moist rice paper. The roll is then deep-fried. The price is for five rolls.

Stir-fried water morning-glory with garlic is a popular dish used as a green vegetable, especially in East and Southeast Asian cuisines. Only organic one is served.

Bun Bo Nam Bo aka Bun Thit Xao Nam Bo, is a bowl of dry noodles with stir-fried meat/mushrooms and flavors of citronella, chili, onion, peanut, herbs as well as nước mắm (sour-sweet fish sauce), or vegan xì dầu (soy sauce) in service.

Mi quang

The main ingredients of Mi Quang are wide rice noodles, meat, and herbs, most commonly served with a small amount of broth. Mi Quang is an ethnic food of Quang Nam province right south of Da Nang.

Bun bo hue

The bun bo originated in Hue, the former capital of Vietnam. The broth is prepared by simmering beef bones with lemongrass and then seasoned with fermented shrimp sauce and sugar for taste.

Com tam

Com tam (or broken rice) is a Saigonese dish made from rice with fractured rice grains, as well as meat and various greens, pickled vegetables in service.
Broken rice is fragments of rice grains, broken by milling. Mechanical separators are used to separate the broken grains from the whole grains and sort them by size.

Saigonese banh xeo is a 12-inch savory fried pancake made of rice flour, some bean powders, eggs, water, stuffed with meat, and bean sprouts, as well as lettuce, mustard green, spearmint, Thai basil, and fish mint (heartleaf) in service. It includes gluten, but we will serve a gluten-free version for you as long as you have a prior request.
